About Resonance

Resonance Consulting was set up by Lisa Kumar to provide a special kind of Intercultural Training and Executive Coaching experience. Having worked in the Learning and Development field for over 14 years for a number of companies all over Europe, Lisa decided that a more cognitive approach was needed. And so she studied occupational psychology and now applies a mixture of traditional coaching techniques with a well developed psychological approach. She, and her team, works with senior business leaders on a one on one basis as well as with small groups.

The Resonance Approach

Resonance Consulting is a boutique firm of intercultural business consultants focusing specifically on the Indian and European markets. Our mission is to help organisations working with Indian companies to grow their business through a positive and mutually rewarding relationship.

We identify the key cultural roadblocks that exist with individuals and teams of people. We believe that inside all of us are capabilities, skills and creative drives that are hampered by our internal defence mechanisms. To put it another way, most people block out what they do not understand. We help our clients see this.

We, then, implement a set of programs that lets our clients develop approaches to overcome their cultural barriers. These coaching modules are tailored to specific roles and business sectors and are designed to work around your busy schedules. Our work is research led in order to deliver tailored sessions.

Resonance is able to deliver coaching sessions face to face, via the phone or over the web. Indeed the use of technology and social media is a key part of the Resonance philosophy.

In some cases, clients have very specific needs such as coaching for a presentation or a business bid proposal. In other cases, client’s need a sustained program of coaching sessions over a time to improve the overall level of interaction. Resonance also works with Indian companies looking to develop their business in Europe or the United States of America. About Lisa

Lisa was born in the United States of America but moved to France at the age of 18 and is completely fluent in written and spoke French. Over the last decade, Lisa travelled to India many times and in 2005, married Rakesh. They have 2 children and the family divides its time between London and Delhi. Having immersed herself in all aspects of Indian life, Lisa and her team are in a unique position to offer training and coaching to individuals and organisations who have business interests in India. Resonance also works with Indian companies looking to develop their business in Europe or the United States of America.
